If your sure the top and the sides, are dry; then first, I would wiggle the shutoff solenoid= if it wiggles, then the two rear mounting bolts are loose and probably have been loose, for a while and it MAY have cracked that rear aluminum housing.


It may be the throttle shaft seal is leaking.


It may be loose drain plug, at very rear, lower part of governor housing. (9/16" head, on that plug)


It may be a loose, long drain bolt (part of rear governor housing mounting bolts) found at the very rear, center. (7/16" socket fits this one= it has a 0-ring in that one bolt)


It may be that the front lower "drain line tube" has come off of the vent fitting, that is suppose to let fuel drain to the forward, left side of the engine, WHEN the fuel transfer pumps lip seal fails. If that fuel transfer pump lip seal failed and the tube is OFF, then the leaky fuel goes into the valley of the engine. (this is one, of three, plastic vent tubes/lines that come off that 3208 injection pump)
