I went from a 2wd 580 C to a 4wd 580 Super L. The 4 wheel drive is a huge benifit to me. It never failed when I was fixing water leaks with the 2 wheel drive 580C I had trouble backfilling with the loader in the mud. Couldn't push much of a pile or have to much in the bucket or you would spin out.
I blew up the motor on my 580 C at around 7600hrs. My 580 Super L has a 3.9 cummins engine. Pretty much trouble free so far.
