Northeast Ohio | That's how it works "here" .20 for the privilege to dump there, and .04 for storage. We have 4 elevator/feed mills around here that I deal with and they all get together and set the prices the same for dumping and storage. That doesn't include what they wack you for on moisture and shrink. If I keep playing this game I'm going to have to put up some bins and try to find a way to dry economically. I don't farm that many acres compared to most guys on here but, it sure rubs me the wrong way when you see them yank 20-30 bu. out of a 750 bu load at 17+ moisture. | |
