Glasgow, Ky
SeniorCitizen,

Just started reading AgTalk recently and have found it very informative. Especially enjoy reading your perspective on things. You have a unique ability to take a complex subject and present it on a level that even I can understand.

Regarding this whole price run up recently. How much impact do you feel the ethanol industry has had on the price of corn and indirectly on other commodities?

Given some of the things we are hearing now some are getting close to a panic mode regarding food supply and prices. In the near future is it possible our government might mandate a significant slowdown in ethanol production due to pressures from those who feel it is creating a problem feeding our own and the world as a whole?

By the way, every once in a while I do find an acorn.
