| I talked to the facilities manager at our local plant the other night. He said that what's affecting profitability on bio-diesel right now is the high price of Methanol. Methanol has gone from $300 per 1M therms to over $800. They use 10% methanol to esterify the biodiesel. He said that has driven them from slightly positive margins to slightly negative margins, independent of the bean price increase. | |
