Lapel, In
Sounds something like an old guy (Expert I am sure) that called in to a radio talk show this morning bad mouthing ethanol and he had just read a book written by an engineer with 40 years of experience(another old expert, I am sure) that had ALL the answers. Jist of the conversation-poor mileage-lots of water used(like water wears out.lol.)-using corn that should be used for food, all the negatives we have heard, yadda ,yadda, yadda, and the WHOPPER, the guy said it took 523 bushels of corn to make 13 gallons of ethanol ! Yes, I tried to call in. No, I didn't get through. I wanted him to multiply 523 times $4.50 and then divide by 13. We are bordering on hysteria ,folks and it is only going to get worse.
$100 crude is going to slow down bio diesel ? I doubt it, I doubt it. $20 beans might ----nah ! Not even $20 beans.,because if that happens look for crude to be nearly $200 a barrel.
