Heck theres been guys farming the ditches here for years. Just keep dragging a disk along the edge of the ditch at a good dirt throwin speed and eventually the edge of the field is at the same level as the ditch, until the county needs dirt for a driveway and cleans the ditch out A few years ago I saw a spot the county had cleaned out along a gravel road. Took out the first row and cut all the roots off of one side of the second row.
Just think how efficient it would be to plant the interstate median. That would be a farmers dream, rows that go on virtually forever |
