| Across much of Missouri 66 does not exist. Many miles of it were bulldozed for I-44 construction. Occasionally the old 66 pavement exists as an access road alongside I-44. Its not at all like in OK where the routes are more than a quarter mile apart and 66 exists as OK 66 through all the towns that I-44 skips. Been on both MO and OK segments for the last 48 years. Been across MO into OK before the interstates too.
