Subject: RE: inoculate soybeans next year?

PROSPECT, TENNESSEE
UT doesn't recommend it unless it has been out of soybean production for three years. But, here is my honest opinion... The bacteria that fixes the nitrogen is a living thing, it can drown, or dehydrate. I inoculate soybeans like they wont germinate without it. I have lots of land that ponds with water for prolonged periods. I bet the drought was rough on it also. I think the high end inoculants costs less than $4 per acre, why chance it?
