looking for a simple accounting program. i don't do payroll, i just want something to keep all my farm records organized. i want it to keep track of inputs and grain sales, and even figure what my cost per acre is on different farms

Been a while since I used Quicken so not up to date on everything that it does. It would be very helpful but not mandatory to be able to use class tracking to keep up with costs per farm. I really thought that Quicken would do that but not 100% sure. I know that Quickbooks does use it because I use it in Quickbooks to track costs by farm. I need to add a silly disclaimer here so that people won't imply that I make money promoting Quickbooks. I am a Quickbooks ProAdvisor, not because I make money at it (never made a single penny from that), but because it's cheaper for me to get the software that way. I'm sure there is other software out there that will do just as well but ultimately you will need to be able to find help on the web or in person to set the software up.
