Unless the current drought monitor changes over the winter I'm thinking there may be very few forward contracts for 2013. Last year we went from a perfect stand with perfect growing conditions in a couple days in late June. All we needed was a little rain, but we got bone dry and 105. It will be an interesting year, but I'd just buy a strong RA policy and sit back and watch.
