Subject: Re: The future of hay grinding

Watonwan County MN
Those small herds are supplying a majority of the calves to fill feedlots all across this great country. I grind my hay with my reel mixer with a hay kit. What I know doesn't grind well gets tub ground when the custom guy gets here. I don't have time for a vertical. Demoed a Patz 320 last year, and "ground" 1 bale. Told Dad, for the money, I will just hire tub grinder and sit in the warm house. Two hours every couple weeks or an extra half an hour daily, doesnt make sense to me.
