Martinsville, Ohio | That's about the only way I have planted it since 76. Grows just fine. I never had trouble getting rid of all of mine even when there was a glut in sweet corn around here.
I don't like one row strung across the field though, would rather have it in blocks.
Providence and Avalon types grow like field corn so they are pretty easy to grow, a tender yellow like Vision is a little harder to produce, shorter plant but that's just the nature of the hybrid.
