Lowcountry SC
We are getting serious next year, thermal monocular for spotting and a rifle equipped with a night vision scope. Luckily here in SC they have changed law where if hunting with a summer permit one can harvest the deer and not leave it laying. A deer's home range is usually less than a square mile so if you can get your neighbors to help out there's no doubt you'll see results and have some meat for the freezer. Food banks are also invaluable when managing a deer herd on a large scale.
