southern MN | I know so little about irrigation, and hear of water quotas in some places, my idle mind saw the only green in the area, and wondered if the golf course would need to buy a section to divert the water from one use to the other. And get the land with the well cheaper with that road splitting it up. Not very likely, but a good tall tale anyhow? :)
Only idle wonderings from a person so far removed from irrigation. Tho there are small pivots maybe 30 miles from me, a sandy area on top of clay, I think they use very shallow wells to move the good rains we get off the clay layer back up to the sandy topsoil....
