i did not listen to him, but i got tired of paying the margin, and exited my hedges today. did not see the basis getting better if this thing keeps going up for a while.. .35 under emporia ks. probably wrong, as i would think basis would get better this summer, but carry is not substantial in my view, and well, i needed some cash.
as to an answer to your question, whatever you do will probably be wrong.
