Another problem would be with the steering. If the front end isn't tight the slop will mess with your lines. Using only a WAAS signal this could leave gaps if you aren't careful. Having run a floater truck for the last 3 years I can't see the benifit to having autosteer...my thinking is it would disengage with every bump you hit. Might be more trouble than its worth.
