Your choice no doubt works for you.  You know your costs and you make decisions based on that, not what someone else says to do.  I wish I had waited another month to lock in a price for next year.  I contracted 25% of expected around $7.  The long term KCBOT trends are still in play, just at a higher dollar amount.  I am waiting for the Feb and Mar bounce on new crop to set the remainder of my forward contracts.  Just wish I had bought a Put last week to floor the crop.  Of course, if I had brains, I would have bought a Mar08 call to offset cash sales in August.  That would have made REAL money by now.
