I use a USB stick identical to the bottom one in your pic, only mine is 2.0 GB. Sometimes it takes the lightbars a while to recognize & find the update on the stick, but I have yet to have one that I couldn't update. I have updated 10-15 500 lightbars and all worked. Would the lightbar recognize that there was a memory stick plugged in at all when you were using your first memory stick?
