In FoxFire go to Options / Add-ons / (Disable any RealPlayer or Quicktime you are using). (Enable, should be already the Shockwave player you downloaded).
Hopefully I haven't missed anything, you may have to reboot after you download Shockwave or may have to pull Shockwave into Foxfire.
You would think the two (IE and Foxfire) were looking at the same player BUT they are not.
Figured this out after many tries of wiping out firefox and reloading (but I had a new laptop that Foxfire worked fine and discovered i was using Shockwave player on it) so when I went to desktop saw that my two browsers were NOT using the same for Utube.
