The 3406B could be a good thing, or it could be a bad thing.   The question is whether it has an electronic governor or not.  If it's mechanical, it should be a good reliable engine but will give up some in fuel economy...not a big deal on a farm truck which doesn't go too many miles.  If it's a PEEC, just add in about $3000 of cushion when you buy it so you can afford to put a mechanical pump on it when it needs it....and it will need it.  

Sorry Rich et al, but there's no friggin way I'm paying $15k for a twenty year old truck.  I don't care if it does say Peterbilt on it, it's still an old truck.
