Pictures were taken on 4-22-2012
Am located in Macoupin County, IL about 50 miles north of STL, MO. Have never seen anything like this in 40 plus years, very little flowering going on when get 40-50 ft from field border. The best wheat looks to be where it was short of N as looks like heat from the soil protected the head.
Heads are turning color with nothing to very little in the head.
