Subject: Re: EZ Pilot or EZ Steer which to buy??

Alentejo, Portugal
Just last thursday I went to a trimble demo-day near my farm. They had a 750 with EZ steer and an FMX with EZ pilot running (on WAAS, the spanish guy couldn´t get RTK signal in Portugal with his modem). They told me that the EZ steer can only be used on slower speeds than the EZ pilot. And i learned that the EZ steer disconnects if it gets more then a certain distance off-line, for instance when you drive over a big stone with one wheel. (Oh, and I heard the question here on this forum, "how many times have you got your fingers in between the steering wheel and the EZ steer motor? "!)
But one day when I go RTK I´ll get myself an EZ Pilot or buy a tractor that is prepared for autosteer.
