i seeded red lentils this year- averaged 25, pea yields were a lot less than i expected, was hoping for 40, made around 28-30. only seeded 57 acres of durum, hauled it to the elevator for $10, went all barley this year, sure wish it wasn't contracted, but at least its making money. green peas are 7 or better for #1, lentils are sure going up. going to be an interesting winter between marketing the rest of this crop and deciding what to plant for next year.
