We were able to cut the double crop soybeans yesterday that had 1 lb of tillage radish in them. The ones without radish in them are 4.9 bu less than the ones with them. I had a 3.9 LL and a 4.1 LL and the yield result was very similar.
I will try to post a picture of them but the story is my today's blog.
There is something that happens when a radish sprouts beside another crop. Weeds seem to be deterred and crop seems to gain energy. I wonder if some of the yield isn't due to radish effect on soybean cyst nematode in my case.
