| shreded the rotor drive belt on my 1440 combine today.replaced with a new one, $311.tightened it up according to the manual.now the rotor pully belt and drive pully run so hot i can't hold my hand on it.it's not the bearing cause the hub and torque sensor assembly are cooler.this can't be normal,or is it?hate to ruin another belt,any answers?
doing 50 bushel beans 750 rpm rotor,2.5-3 mph 15' head,not really working it that hard. | |
