Lethbridge, AB
Yes it is working very good so far.

This is just west of Lethbridge in a river bottom.

Both swathing and straight cutting has it's share of risk associated with it.

For some reason the canola is very short this year and we do get some very strong winds
so I was very concerned about swathing it so low and not have much stubble left to ancor the swath.
Also being in a river bottom if we get rain it takes a long time to dry out the swaths on the bottom, whitch has not happend yet
but we have got a lot of wind the last couple of days.
When I took the video it was blowing 46 gusting to 58 km/hr and today I was going for a while and had to quit because the wind got too
strong (67 to 81 km/hr) and was blowing the seed out of the truck.

We have done it with seed canola the last few years and from the 7 circles we straight cut 2 circles each year and we really liked it.
