| I hope you elaborate more on the peripheral situation - since depending on what the issue is, it may be the fault of the peripheral maker rather than your computer. For example, when I upgraded my iMac from Leopard to Snow Leopard, there were three days that my printer would not work since HP had not released an updated driver. There were dozens of HP printers that were crippled due to this. They had MONTHS of advanced notice, all the information they needed from Apple to write updated drivers, yet they failed to get it done until SL was released and people were screaming bloody murder. I seldom print, so it didn't slow me down one bit - but can see where this would have been a major issue for some users (and a major risk for any early adopter). But the finger simply could not be pointed at Apple in that case. Regardless, peripheral compatibility is not a major issue with the Mac platform so I am curious about what specifically you have had a problem with. | |
