| Well, the reason I have mine on a pedestal is because my experience has been completely opposite of that. I've never once had a problem connecting peripherals, my wireless strength has been fine, and seldom have issues with Safari. Any issues I have with Safari are Flash related - and that is usually the case with any browser on any platform. Flash is simply a trouble maker. Your wireless strength - could it be location? Try switching the iMac out with one of your other computers and see if the iMac improves and the other one does worse. You shouldn't be having problems - iMacs are known for their strong wifi antennas. Are you actually having problems staying connected or are you just seeing fewer "bars"? | |
