Have wondered the same. Co-ax like I have at home is 20 Mps, and that's as fast as it gets, I'm told. Fiber goes to 100 I think, but I'm not sure what most businesses would use that kind of speed for. I'm sure there are plenty of things; I just don't know what they are.
So Google is doing that "Gig Town" thing. What are they doing with all that speed?
