I have a Dell 9" netbook with solid state drive.  Not a speed demon by any means.  It is just cannot process as fast as my Dell 17r with Intel i5.  I incressed the netbooks memory also which did not do anything to help.  

I have learned to live with the speed and use it in ways knowing how slow it is.
