But I suggest you try them first by themselves before you go buying a lot of expensive stuff to mix in to make essentially a "Goulash".

The problem with meats and especially pork is that the fats absorb odors probably a long time before the meat or fat degrades in itself.

So, the quality of the meat will depend on any odors present in the deep freeze.

Ruined some real good fresh pork chops by following a "Good Housekeeping" tip to "just put your paint roller in the freezer overnight " to keep from having to clean it between paint coats. That was back in the day of Real Paint with oil base!

I cringe every time I hear of some tip to put birds for taxidermy "in the freezer" , likewise with clothes you have worn on the road "to freeze out any bedbugs".

Food Freezers are for food. Putting anything else in can and will ruin your food!

But if you have used any common sense, I suspect you have some real good pork chops there.
