This year, I renewed after normal business hours with no problem. You do not need to go through your Trimble dealer although you can for billing purposes. In my case since I am an employee of the business where I bought the equipment I have it billed through them. The business makes a buck or two but my cost is the the same either way.
Since I was on record of having done it this way in the past there was no problem with the billing.
