Sheldon, IA | Simplist thing to do is take a stop watch and turn on the boom timing how long it takes for the tips to have full pattern. Put that number in for Turn on lookahead (if it takes 1.5 sec then put in 1.5 sec). Then time shutting off the booms and time how long it takes for product to stop leaving the tips. Put that in as the Turn Off lookahead. That should get the sprayer real close. Speed will not make a huge difference because the controller is adjusting for speed. These settings can then be adjusted a little more if you want to cause more or less overlap. Keep in mind these setting mean turn on 1.5 sec EARLY and Turn off .5 sec EARLY. | |
