Immediately after push start buttom press DEL, F2, F8 what ever works on your machine to enter safe mode, A black screen with white lettering will appear be patient and follow directions given. The admin acct password is admin by default. Most anti-virus will not run in safe mode. Then on start menu click on Computer and then right click on the "C" drive and select Properties. Click on the TOOLS tab and select defrag; this may take some time but when it's finished go back to the tools menu again and select Error Checking Push the "Check Now" button and this will take some time too.
