Subject: Re: small device to store passwords??

Blanchester, OH
I have a notepad file that I keep all my passwords in. I have several standard passwords to meet the different criteria for different sites. I type the site then list the username and password as a code; using for example the first letter then an asterisk (*) for each other character. By the hint of the first letter and the number of asterisk in the username or password, I know what standard name or password I assigned to the site. I can then add to this file and save or delete as I desire, and can easily copy it to an email or thumb drive.
Example:

NAT:
Username: B*** (**) [ Bret (OH) ]
Password: E****** [ Example ]
