Redwood Falls, MN | I guess it really depends on who you deal with. I had mine built in 4 days. This place has been around for 15+ years and works with large companies and school in the area as well. Not a fly by night business. They are a MS Certified Gold partner and HP Business Partner.
Dell support is not the only issue right now. They are using very cheap components in the motherboards. My son goes to a state college and has a part time job in the IT dept. They are migrating away from Dells for their labs to HP. The local builder is also a HP dealer and repair center. They sell more HP than custom built yet they're still there to do the repairs locally.
It just comes down to checking around and asking people that have dealt with the locals.
