Subject: Re: Challenger MT835C Vs. JD 9430T

Missouri river bottom south of Sioux City, IA
I got a MT 835C a year ago. It’s equipped it with 18 inch tracks and 3pt for row crop work. I planted with a mounted 16 row planter without lift assist. Also pulled a mounted 12 row Orthman strip-till bar and 5 ton dry fertilizer cart in the fall. I’m currently pulling a 20 yard dolly scraper with it. The way it’s equipped seems to be the right setup to handle any row crop application and also have the power to handle the heavy pulling that I do in the fall. I’m impressed with its logging power and the ride is hands down better then the JD8410T that I have.
