NW Tennessee | Shelled most of the corn last week and it was quite a bit better than expected. I still have some late re-plant to get, but I was pleased with the early corn, especially considering the year and the fact it's all dryland. It averaged 154 bpa so far, but I know the late re-plants are gonna pull that down. Stalks and leaves were green, but the wettest load we cut was just a little over 17%, most ran 14%-16%. Test weight was the best we've ever had, some loads went over 61# with the majority 60+.
