| If your main use would be to access the net and email via wifi, buy an iPad. They are very nice for web surfing due to the large screen (compared to smartphones and iPod Touch type of devices) and would be a lot handier to carry around. Added benefit to the iPad is TONS of high quality games, ebooks, tv shows, movies, music, etc available for them on the iTunes Store to mess around with on the way to and from your destination. Load it up with content before you leave, and away you go. Battery life is a solid 10 hrs - no notebook can come close to that without dragging spare batteries along.
If you have software that you need to use, then a notebook would be a better choice. | |
