My ipod was raind on and it dident work at all and i got it dried out so i could see the screen but it says its locked and the butten that pushes over doesent work. Any ideas?
(note i tore off the top to see if the problem was the butten itself and a little orange chip thing popped off so the butten dosent work at all now)

. What type of Ipod, touch, classic? Combination to the two buttons to force a reboot, usally just try holding both buttons till you see a white apple logo on the screen. If that doesn't work hook it up to your computer and do a restore.
Edit: Also could try searching http://www.ilounge.com/ one of the best ipod websites on the net.

I was cleaning a small tank this spring and dropped an iPhone 3G into about 4 inches of herbicide and water. I rinsed it and put it into a bag of rice so that it was completely covered on all sides. Later that night my wife heard it ringing. I got it out and called back. I was able to complete the call but not satisfied with some functions so back into the rice. Next day all was well except a speaker that is evidently used for internet and movie sound didn't work. But the iPhone works fine now. And that was with a badly cracked screen.

Tried that one time with a transistor radio. Must have messed it up. Only stations I could get were left wing. In other words it wouldn't pick up anything.
