 Yorktown, TX | Well, with the number of bales that you bale, I would not get an all in one, but you can get a rake big enough to put 3 windrows to one, and you would save time even if you drove both tractors and swapped. The raking will go by fast since you can drive around 6-7mph (faster if you buy a good rake). Can you justify the cost? Don't know how much else you have to do, or to what extent hay production adds to your operation. I would get a rake, but I bale a lot, and I'm in grass hay. I use my rakes in sudan and grazer, but that is because I have them. I do know there is one guy that doesn't rake his hay down here, and he always has bearing and pickup problems with a Case baler. Also, we need the rakes to fluff the windrows due to the EXTREMELY high humidity.
