Subject: Are treacked 8000 series JDs discounted in the used market?

Leesport, PA
I have been looking at some 8000 series John Deere on the internet recently. Mainly focused on 8400s, 8410s, 8420s, and 8430s. Overall it seems like those machines on tracks are priced cheaper with less hours then their wheeled counterparts. Am I dreaming this? Is there good reason for this?

We already own a Cat 95E and know the good and bad about tracks in general but not much specifically about these models.

Thanks for your 2 cents!

Ryan
