At our latitude if you were in a full section field (640 acres, 1mile by one mile) according to my math if you compared Trimble with true parallel to JD with all passes being true north the first pass of course would be the same but the last pass would be out approximately 2 feet at the north end of field. That is why I tell customers if you plan on getting into inter-row seeding for example it is going to be very difficult to mix and match GPS systems. I am not sure how Raven or Outback or Topcon or others do their A-B lines but it will start to be an issue down the road I think. | |
