| The Chinese production model is becoming very modern at a rapid pace. They are now buying grains from the U.S. to feed their newly built confinement houses instead of buying frozen pork from the U.S. See graphs below.
The total monthly pork exports in 2010 are consistently exeeding the 2009 & 5 year average.
The monthly pork exports to China in 2010 are a fraction of 2009 & 5 year average.
