New computer, with windows 7

Talked to computer shop who built the system about the following problems and they said it has been a common complaint with Windows 7 running Explorer 8

1. Will not close a page, opens quick but hangs on to it for dear life after closing the page.

2. "back arrow" is completely worthless icon in top left corner, will not go back, have to use cntrl lft arrow to go back to the previous page.

few other issues I can't recall at this second,,

Anyone else have these issues ??

(I would dearly love to place Windows 7  famous "ribbon" Where Bill Gates'  Proctologist would have to hunt for a week to find !! )
