Devils Lake, ND | I started getting a popup telling me I needed to run a virus scan, and then it starts doing it. I am also prompted to enter my credit card info to buy the full version. Definitely not right.
I ran Spy Hunter with no effect. I admit I hadn't run it or updated it recently.
I went into Safe Mode and restored to an earlier point. Each time it went through the process but told me there was some kind of "Unknown Error" and it hadn't restored. I went back to the oldest point (5-16). No go.
Now it won't even let me start it up unless I am in Safe Mode.
Any suggestions? It goes wirthout saying this is a Vista machine. | |
