East Central, Nebraska
Good luck, I was in your boat last year. i bought a WAAS system and decided that i was going to plant with it. That was a very bad idea. My thoughts were that "oh i can't plant 6-8 inches either way all the time". So i tried it. I am not sure what 6-8 inches meant and still don't because some times it was off as much as 3 foot. On 30'' rows i was either 3 foot away or right on top of the previous row.

But on our grain drill planting soybeans if he set it at 19 ft. on a 20 foot drill (with 10'' rows) he was either overlapping a little, which was okay with us, or 10'' away from the previous pass which was perfect.

So don't expect too much out of a WAAS system, and don't shoot yourself in the foot like i did buying a non upgradeable system and realizing WAAS wasn't going to work for me, then buying a totally diffrent omni-star system this year.
