West Chazy, New York | My cousin and his neighbor who is Mennonite each got some pigs from the same litter. My cousin fed his a standard corn and soy ration and his was ready first, so he and the neighbor each took half. The neighbor fed his grain and scraps from the garden and his grew much slower but they again split the carcass. The slower grown hog was noticeably better meat. Not a scientific comparison for sure but worth considering. | |
