West Union, Illinois

 OK, now I'm ready ...

Why shouldn't the same rules apply to us as everyone else?  I keep hearing farming is a business.  Maybe its time we started acting like it!

How many times have you read on here something like "We worked 24 hours a day for 2 weeks planting corn."  "I average 100 hours s week in season." "We worked until 3 the next morning."?  If I drive a truck I can work 14 hours and then have to be off for 10.  HAVE TO BE.

This is self-inflicted guys.  We have done it to ourselves. If we have to work 18 to 20 hours (or more!) in a day we are doing something wrong.

I have to get to a meeting.  Swing easy, my hard hat is a cheap one.
